How do I choose an unbiased news aggregator?
Start with the source. Newstake takes you to company announcements, government statements and original research, skipping news outlets that retell them. Read the words for yourself, including the details a headline leaves out.

The same announcement, five headlines
A company announces a new battery. One headline celebrates longer life. Another focuses on the price. Both lead back to the same release. Before choosing an angle, read what the company actually said.
Newstake collects direct publications and links to the original, so you can form your own view.
What does “unbiased” mean here?
Going direct removes the news outlet’s added interpretation. It does not make the original author neutral: a company wants to sell its product, and a government wants to make its case.
Check the evidence behind the claim. Keep independent reporting that adds facts, asks hard questions or visits places the author did not.
Choose the view you need
Use Newstake to find the original announcement. Use tools such as Ground News or AllSides when you want to compare how news outlets cover a story. Their rating methods explain what their labels measure.
Try a story you know. Can you find the original? Can you see who wrote it and when?
